Brasil Memories

This was prolly the coolest thing I saw. Lame, I know...considering there are many more fascinating things to see in Brasil and I chose to share this picture. I came across this piece at the restauarant Porcao in Rio. I like it because it resembles my dream of building a corkboard...out of cork...I keep saving my corks...but I'm not quite near the splendor of this yet. Think of all the bottles of wine...all the conversations represented...all the memories...all the glances held and shared...all the awkward drunken slips...all the laughs and giggles. It makes me smile. (Oh this cork-thing reminds me of the game Topple.)

I also like this picture of me in Brasil b/c I look happy. This particular moment of joy is due to the fact that the dessert platter has just been presented....I chose the Mango dessert...which was full of flavor!

This is a very scary story: We were out one night and a bunch of Brazilians were threatening to beat us up...unless one of us would be able to beat their leader in arm wrestling. Of course...I was the only one man enough to accept the challenge. I single handedly defeated him (review picture from above) and saved our whole group from getting our faces smashed in. Okay, I lied. It's a joke...this guy was our friend...and for the record he did let me win. I'm still tough and funny.

I will post up a link to the collection of Brasil photos once I hv them up...or someone in our group has them up!
