Auriga Restaurant Review
On March 22, I took Eric and myself to Auriga...mostly b/c I subconsciously knew that if we didn't have evening plans, we would come back from Hong Kong and sleep through the day and wake up at 11:00 p.m. wide awake. Auriga coaxed us out of bed...we had reservations at 7:30 p.m. but we literally slept till 7 and barely made it in time for our reservation.
My favorite part of the evening...was of course...dessert!
I chose the first dessert and the waiter presented Eric with the Pineapple Sorbet as a surprise.
Mocha Mousse Cake
chocolate sauce, coffee gelato, cappuccino foam and chocolate crunch

young coconut, blood orange and dacquoise
I wish I had a picture of the Mocha Mousse Cake...it was exquisite...perfectly presented. I was so impressed with the multi-layered chocolate cake and how thinly it was sliced...and yet it came out absolutely perfect...no rips or tears...anywhere. The cappuccino foam also was the best complement...I didn't even need to get a cup of coffee.
Auriga is going to be my new dessert palace. :)
